What happens if something fails in the system?
Alarm-Centre : The system is covered by a our lifetime warranty and in the event that a component fails, the system will immediately report this event to our monitoring station who will in turn despatch a security technician to your premises to rectify the problem. In most cases these service visits will be during normal business hours and we would prefer you or a member of your household be present if possible.
 

If I lose my Alarm-Centre key-ring remote where do I get another, and do I have to pay for it?
Alarm-Centre : Simply call 0800 TOALARM (0800 862 527) and we will immediately 'de-activate' your lost remote. This procedure (much like that utilised by banks for lost credit cards) ensures that no one can use your lost remote to gain entry into your home. We will then issue you a new remote and yes there is a cost for replacement units.
 

Who is the monitoring done by?
Alarm-Centre : We work exclusively with our 24hr manned Monitoring Station.
 

Which guard company do you use?
Alarm-Centre : We will utilise any company you may choose however we prefer to send our trained personnel.
 

Can I choose my own pin number?
Alarm-Centre : Yes, of course, in fact you can issue different codes for each user. This is a practise we recommend.
 

Can I have any accessories eg panic buttons etc and do I have to pay more for them?
Alarm-Centre : Yes you can and because of our vast collective resources we are able to facilitate any and all security products and services needs you may have.
But before you start thinking about 'extras' please take the time to thoroughly look through our 'standard' offer as it is very comprehensive and in all instances so far, our clients have been shocked to discover that what is an expensive 'optional extra' elsewhere is in fact part of our standard package at only $34 inclusive of GST per month.
 

If I cancel the system will you come and de-install it?
Alarm-Centre : Yes.
 

How do I operate the system?
Alarm-Centre : Simply by using the keypad installed with the system, or the optional key-ring remote control. Our security technicians provide full training immediately after installation has been completed. Or alternatively by the use of our optional remote control units.
 

What happens if I have pets and want to have an Alarm-Centre system in my home?
Alarm-Centre : We will then install a 'pet friendly' Alarm-Centre system at the same price of only $34 inclusive of GST per month.
 

How good is the Alarm-Centre security system?
Alarm-Centre : The system is produced by the largest privately owned manufacturer of security components in the world and is currently in use in over 80 countries worldwide. This means it is widely used and proven the world over not just in domestic applications but predominantly in the higher demand commercial sector.
 

What if I already have an alarm system and want monitoring only?
Alarm-Centre : As the costs of 'monitoring only' is already established in the market at an average of $1 + GST per day we will simply upgrade you to an Alarm-Centre system for the $34 inclusive of GST per month. This will then give you not just 24 hour electronic monitoring but all the other great features of our system, not the least of which is free guard response. You can then on-sell your old system, which we will de-install for you for free.
 

How easy is the system to use?
Alarm-Centre : As easy as entering your personal 4 digit PIN, or with the use of our optional remote control, as easy as your garage door or car security system - just press one button on your personal key-ring remote to turn it on and again to turn it off.
 

Will I get instructions on how to operate the Alarm-Centre system?
Alarm-Centre : Yes of course. Once installed our security technician will walk you through how the system works and how you operate it and we also have an instruction video for your use if required.
 

If I set the system off by mistake, can I call someone to let them know?
Alarm-Centre : Absolutely. Just ring our 24 Hr contact number, give us your password and tell the us its a false alarm. We will then stand down the guard.
 

Will having an Alarm-Centre security system installed affect my insurance premiums?
Alarm-Centre : Absolutely. Please when ordering ask our customer service consultant about Insurance discounts.
