How much is it for the Alarm-Centre system?
Alarm-Centre: The initial cost is dependant on your choice of options, but is generally around 1/2 the cost of an non monitored Security system the monitoring cost is $34 inclusive of GST per month.

Are there any hidden costs?
Alarm-Centre : No, absolutely not.

Do I have to sign a minimum term contract?
Alarm-Centre : No, definitely not. Our contract does not have a minimum term stipulated You choose.

Am I tied in for any length of time?
Alarm-Centre : No. There is absolutely no minimum contractual period.

How much notice do I have to give to cancel the system?
Alarm-Centre : You need to give us 30 days notice.

Do I have to pay more for guard response?
Alarm-Centre : Yes - There is a small charge should you or one of your key-holders be unable to attend

Is there any limit to the amount of responses I can have?
Alarm-Centre : No, never. We will never compromise on the total protection we give you and your family even if there is a history of false alarms due to negligence.

How much will I have to pay for guard response?
Alarm-Centre : Only $40 inclusive of GST.

Do I have to pay for false alarms due to system faults?
Alarm-Centre : No, absolutely not.

I have an elderly mum who can't afford the payments, can she get one installed and get it charged to my account?
Alarm-Centre : Yes, of course. And our system has medical assistance capability discussed earlier.

If I cancel, will there be a charge for de-installation?
Alarm-Centre : Yes there is, but we reserve the right to waive the charge depending on the circumstances of your cancellation. The de-installation fee if charged will be $150 + GST.

Under what circumstances will I not be charged for de-installation?
Alarm-Centre : Mainly in instances where you are moving to a new address and remaining as an alarm-centre customer once there.

Do I have to pay any penalties if I move while I have an Alarm-Centre system?
Alarm-Centre : There is the possibility that you will have to pay a re-installation fee, However generally even if you move the reinstallation of your system can be arranged, the fee is generally about $ 90.00

How long before the system is installed?
Alarm-Centre : Ideally it can be as quickly as 48 hours from the time you place your order, but in reality, due to such issues as the high demand already placed by the market on our installation team and co-ordinating with you  for the 4-5 hour installation, it may be longer. Our customer service department will be able to give a more specific time when you order your system.

Are the installers registered?
Alarm-Centre : Yes. All of our installers are licensed and registered with the Justice Department.

How many of them will turn up to install my system?
Alarm-Centre : Usually two of our security technicians will be required to install your Alarm-Centre system.

How long will it take?
Alarm-Centre : Usually 4 - 5 hours.

Will I have to organize keys, or will I have to be present during installation?
Alarm-Centre : It is our preferred policy for you or a member of your household to be present during installation. However we realise that this will not always be possible in such cases access arrangements will be necessary.
 

What happens if I move?
Alarm-Centre : If you move within the same province, or more importantly, within the area where you can remain a customer, we will install a new system in your new address for about $ 90.00.
